> How to reach Carlton Aikins — email, social profiles, what he is open to, and typical response time.

The fastest way to reach me is email. I read everything that isn't obviously automated, and I answer most real messages within a few days.

## Email

For anything work-related — projects, contracts, press, or questions about something I built — write to [carlton@charmtechnologies.co](mailto:carlton@charmtechnologies.co). For anything tied to school or student groups, [caikins@usc.edu](mailto:caikins@usc.edu) reaches me too.

## Elsewhere

- GitHub — [github.com/31carlton7](https://github.com/31carlton7) — source for Plynn, Versed, Elisha, Mobile Use, and most of my open projects.
- LinkedIn — [linkedin.com/in/carltonaikins](https://linkedin.com/in/carltonaikins) — work history and the most reliable place to reach me if email bounces.
- X — [x.com/31carlton7](https://x.com/31carlton7) — what I am building right now, in public.
- Instagram — [instagram.com/31carlton7](https://instagram.com/31carlton7) — occasional photos; the same set lives at [/pictures](/pictures).

## What I am open to

I'm glad to hear from you about: engineering or founding roles and internships, contract work on iOS, Flutter, or Next.js products, questions from students trying to break into mobile development, speaking or mentoring for student engineering organizations, and bug reports or feature requests for anything I've shipped.

I'm not a good fit for unsolicited agency outreach, SEO or backlink offers, or requests to promote products I haven't used.

## Response time

Expect a reply within two to five business days. If something is time-sensitive, say so in the subject line and I will triage it sooner.

If you are writing about something I built, name the project and say what you were doing when it went wrong — the device, the version, and a screenshot save a round trip. If you are writing about work, a sentence on what the team is building tells me more than a job description does.
